Spacer tube - bearings
Spacer tube fitted between the rear wheel bearings to set correct bearing spacing, also listed under WW37314.
This is a spacer tube that sits between the bearings in the rear wheel hub. It keeps the correct distance between the two bearings so the axle clamps them square when the wheel is tightened up, rather than letting the load crush down on the bearing races themselves.

The catalog places this one in the rear wheel figures, including the version noted for use with a Smiths speedo drive box on the right-hand side, so if your rear hub carries a speedo drive off that side this is the tube that goes with it. It also shows up under the older WW37314 reference if that's what's printed in your parts book.
It's a plain, low-cost piece but it matters - a worn or wrong-length spacer tube lets the bearings run under improper preload, which shortens their life. Worth checking condition any time the rear wheel is apart.
