Plunger quadrant
A plunger quadrant from the gearbox selector mechanism, appearing in T150V 5-speed gearbox parts-book figures.
T4374/408 is a plunger quadrant, part of the gear selector mechanism inside the gearbox outer cover. It shows up in the catalog under the GEARBOX OUTER COVER figure as well as the GEARBOX SHAFTS AND GEARS figure for the 5-speed T150V setup. The quadrant works with the plunger to help hold the selector mechanism in position as you move between gears.

This is an internal gearbox piece, not something you'd see or handle unless you have the outer cover off and are into the selector assembly. The catalog ties it specifically to the 5-speed T150V gearbox arrangement.
