This is the rear fender loop for 1968 and 1969 Triumph 650 twins, the symmetrical style built for the flat seat hinge arrangement those two model years used. It's the U-shaped bar that bolts across the back of the rear fender, doubling as a grab rail and a lifting handle for getting the bike up on its stand or muscling it around the shop.
