REAR FNDR LOWER BRKT 650
Lower rear fender mounting bracket for Triumph 650 twins, PN 82-6851 (also F6851).
This is the lower rear fender bracket, catalog number 82-6851, also found in older books as F6851. It shows up across the fender-related figures — Fenders and Tail Lamp, Fenders and Stays, Mudguards (Fenders U.S.A.), Mudguards (Fenders), and Fenders — so its job is holding the bottom of the rear fender in place, working with the rest of the fender stay hardware to keep the rear mudguard from flexing or cracking at the mounting points.

The catalog description calls this out as a 650 part, and it appears in records spanning 1967 to 1974. That's a wide span in our own catalog data, but we don't have anything more specific on exact model-year cutoffs, so if you're matching this to a particular machine, bring in your old bracket or check against your parts book before you order.
It's a small, unglamorous piece, but a cracked or missing lower fender bracket is a common reason a rear fender starts rattling or sagging on one side. Worth checking the condition of yours when you're doing any fender or fender stay work.
