NUT, CENTER STAND PIVOT BOLT TILL-70 (1/2x26 CEI THREAD 650) Till 1974 500
Center stand pivot bolt nut, 1/2 x 26 CEI thread, for pre-unit and unit Triumph twins.
This is the nut used on the center stand pivot bolt, the fastener that lets the stand swing up and down on the frame. The catalog calls out a 1/2 inch, 26 TPI CEI thread, and it's listed as fitting 650s up through 1970 and 500s up through 1974 on the pre-unit and unit-era frames. You'll also see it under the older F2725 number if you're working from a legacy parts book.

This nut is a common spot for wear and rust, and if the threads are chewed up on your old one, the stand won't sit tight or lock properly when deployed. A couple of these are worth having on the shelf since the pivot bolt takes some abuse over the years from stand use and road grime.
Some parts books also list this nut as usable on the brake pedal pivot on certain models, so if you're chasing one down for that application, cross check your own parts book before ordering to make sure it lines up with what your bike calls for.
