Gearbox inner cover for the Triumph gearbox, sealing the selector mechanism behind the outer case.
57-7078 is the gearbox inner cover, the plate that sits behind the outer case and closes off the selector mechanism inside the gearbox. It's part of the assembly shown in the parts book under gearbox inner cover and selectors, so along with sealing that side of the box it gives the selector forks and quadrant something to locate against.
