PN · 57-1677
Superseded by 57-3797.

This is the complete kickstarter lever, part number 57-1677, listed in the gearbox outer cover and levers section of the parts book. It's the folding pedal you step on to swing the engine over and get it running, mounted on the kickstart shaft that comes out of the gearbox outer cover.

The catalog shows this one appearance for 1967 and lists it under the older T1677 letter-prefix number as well as 83-61691, so if you're working from an older parts book or a different numbering scheme, those are the same physical lever. This number was later superseded by 57-3797, which is worth knowing if you're trying to source a replacement and this exact number comes up short or discontinued.

Because the catalog only shows the one listing here, we don't have more detail on splines, length, or which specific machines it was fitted to beyond the gearbox figure it appears in. Give us a call and we'll help confirm fitment before you order.
