BSA Oil pump scavenge gear (driver)
Oil pump scavenge gear (driver) for the gearbox/crankcase oil pump assembly, also listed as 41-604.
This is the scavenge gear that drives the oil pump's scavenge side, listed in the parts books under the oil pump and crankcase figures. The scavenge side of the pump is the half that pulls oil back out of the crankcase and returns it to the tank, so this gear is what keeps that side turning in time with the rest of the pump train.

The catalog also shows this part under the older number 41-604, so if your parts book or an old invoice shows that instead of 41-0604, it's the same physical gear.
Our record on this one is thin beyond the figure titles, so if you're matching it up against a pump body or a driven gear, bring what you've got to the counter or call ahead so we can confirm you're getting the right mate for it.
