Leading rear brake shoe for the conical hub drum brake, PN 37-3925, later renumbered 37-3925T.

PN · 37-3925
Current factory number 37-3925T — same part, sold under this listing.

This is the leading brake shoe for the rear drum on the conical hub setup, part number 37-3925, listed under the REAR WHEEL section of the parts books. It carries over from the older W3925 numbering, and later stock was renumbered to 37-3925T for this same shoe.

The shoe is one half of the pair that lives inside the rear brake drum, pressing outward against the drum wall when the brake is applied to slow the wheel. It's a cable-and-drum arrangement, no hydraulics involved, and the shoe gets held in place against the brake plate by springs at each end.

Our catalog record ties this one to the conical hub rear wheel and shows it appearing across 1971-1972 listings. If you're not sure whether your hub is the conical style, check before ordering since brake shoes for other hub types won't interchange.
