FORK SEAL SET 71-ON TRI/BSA - EMGO TAIWAN
Fork seal set for 1971-and-later Triumph/BSA telescopic front forks, PN 97-4001 (later 97-4001T).
This is a fork seal set for the telescopic front forks used on 1971-and-later Triumph and BSA models with the OIF (oil-in-frame) chassis. The catalog lists it under 97-4001, also carried as 19-90191, H4001, and later as 97-4001T after a factory renumbering.

The seals sit at the bottom of each fork leg where the stanchion tube slides through the slider, keeping fork oil in and road grime out. Worn or hardened seals here are the usual cause of oily fork legs and a slick front tire, so if you're seeing weeping at the base of the fork sliders this is the part to check.
This is an Emgo (Taiwan) reproduction set rather than an NOS Triumph or BSA piece. It shows up across catalog entries spanning 1971 through 1977, so double check your own parts book or give us a call if you're not sure which fork your bike has before ordering.
