Carburettor body
Amal carburetor body for the TR7RV carburetor, the main casting the float bowl, slide, and jets fit into.
This is the carburetor body for the Amal fitted to the TR7RV, the core casting that everything else on the carb bolts to or slides into - float bowl, slide, jets, and the mixing chamber itself. When a carb on one of these bikes is worn out, it's usually the body that's given up: throttle slides get sloppy in their bores, jet blocks wear, and at some point a rebuild kit won't bring it back. That's when you're shopping for a replacement body rather than another set of gaskets.

Our catalog record ties this one to the TR7RV carburetor figure, so it's cataloged specifically for that application. We don't have more detail on this one beyond that figure reference, so if you're matching it against a different bike or an earlier Amal carb, bring in your old body or the numbers off it and we'll confirm before you order.
If you're rebuilding rather than replacing outright, it's worth checking your slide, needle, and jets against the new body before you button it up, since a mismatch there is a common cause of a carb that never runs right even after a full rebuild.
We've never carried this one. Tell us what you're after and we'll go looking — you'll get a price and photos before you commit to anything.
