PIVOT BOLT,PROP STAND 67-on
placeholder
This is the pivot bolt for the prop stand (what a lot of folks now just call the side stand) on unit-construction Triumph twins and triples from 1967 onward. It's the pin the stand swings on, running through the stand's mounting lug at the frame, and it's held with a self-locking nut rather than a plain nut and washer, since this joint has to stay tight while the stand pivots against it every time you park the bike.

Catalog records show it also under the older F7021 form and the WW27515 designation, so if your parts book or an old invoice lists either of those, it's the same physical bolt as the current 82-7021.
This one shows up across a wide span of frame and chaincase-area listings in our records, spanning from the late '60s into the early '80s, which tells you it stayed the same basic part across a long run of unit-construction models rather than changing year to year. Worth checking the stand and lug for wear when you replace it, since a sloppy pivot fit will let the stand rattle regardless of how new the bolt is.
