Silencer, upper
Upper silencer for the Triumph T100C/TR6C high-level exhaust system, also listed as E9669.
This is the upper silencer for the high-level exhaust system used on the T100C and TR6C, the off-road-styled Triumph twins that ran their pipes up high on one side of the bike instead of low along the frame rails. On these C-model bikes the exhaust is stacked in two silencers per side, and 70-9669 is the upper one of that pair. The legacy parts book lists it as E9669, same part, older number format.

Because the high-level system routes both head pipes up together, the upper and lower silencers work as a set rather than standing in for a standard low-level muffler. If you're replacing exhaust on a C-model with the high pipes, check which position you need before ordering, since the upper and lower silencers are different part numbers.
Our catalog record ties this one to T100C and TR6C figures from 1969 into 1970. If your bike falls outside that range, give the shop a call and we'll confirm fitment before you order.
