D WASHER,PIPE CLAMP
D-shaped washer used under the exhaust pipe clamp on Triumph twins.
70-3768 is the D-shaped washer used with the exhaust pipe clamp on Triumph twins. It sits under the clamp nut or bolt where the header pipe is secured to the frame or engine, giving the clamp a proper seat so it draws down evenly instead of digging into the pipe or bracket. The legacy parts book listed this same washer as E3768 before the current numbering came in.

This one shows up across a long run of exhaust figures - TR6, TR6R, TR6C, T120R, T100C, and other unit-twin exhaust setups - so it's a part that stuck around basically unchanged for a long stretch of production. If you're rebuilding an exhaust clamp assembly and the old washer is bent, chewed up, or missing, this is the one to have on the bench.
It's a small, cheap-to-replace item but easy to overlook when you're focused on the pipes and silencers themselves. Worth grabbing a couple extra when you're already ordering clamp hardware.
