Exhaust valve for the Triumph T100 cylinder head, part number 70-6854.

PN · 70-6854
Available in 4 versions:

70-6854 is the exhaust valve for the T100 cylinder head, showing up across the CYLINDER BLOCK AND HEAD figures for the single and twin carburetor T100S, T100C, and T100R variants. It's also carried under the E6854 designation in some of our older records, same part, different number on the page.

This valve lives in the head, riding in the guide and closing against the seat to let spent combustion gases out into the exhaust port on each cycle. It's a wear item that takes direct heat and combustion pressure, so when you're doing a head refresh it's the kind of part you replace rather than reuse if there's any doubt about seat contact or stem wear.

Our catalog record ties this to the T100 family across a run of appearances from 1968 into 1974. If you're not sure which head casting or carb configuration you're working with, bring in the old part or give us a call before you order so we get the right one on the counter.
