INLET VALVE T100 1967-74 1.54 HEAD DIA
Inlet valve for the T100 unit-500 twin, 1.54 in. head diameter, as fitted 1967-74.
This is the inlet valve for the T100 unit-500 twin, with a 1.54 inch head diameter, as listed in the cylinder block and head sections of the parts books for the T100S, T100C, T100R, and T100T. It's a top-end wear item that sits in the head, opening to let the fuel/air charge into the cylinder on the intake stroke.

The catalog shows this valve across engine variants of the T100 line through the early '70s, so head castings did change over the run — pull your head off and check what's actually seated in it before ordering rather than going by year alone. The legacy E6853 stamping is the same part as this current 70-6853 number, so if your old parts book or an old box in the garage has E6853 written on it, that's this valve.
Inlet and exhaust valves wear differently and get reground or replaced at different intervals, so when you're doing valve work it's worth checking both sides of the head rather than assuming they're on the same schedule.
