SLIDE 600 AMAL #5
Throttle slide, number 5, for the Amal 600 series carburetor.
This is the throttle slide for the Amal 600 series carburetor, listed in our records as slide number 5. The slide is the part that rides up and down inside the carburetor body, controlled by the throttle cable, and its cutaway shape shapes how the engine picks up fuel and air as you open the throttle.

We don't have much more on file for this one beyond the basic listing. It's an Amal 600-series carb part, not a Triumph-brand piece as such, though it turns up on plenty of British twins running that carburetor.
If you're rebuilding or servicing a 600 series Amal, give us a call and we can confirm this is the right slide number for what's on your bench before you order.
