Damping sleeve
Damping sleeve from the 6T telescopic front fork, also listed as H1653.
This is the damping sleeve out of the telescopic front fork on the 6T, listed in the parts books as 97-1653 and under its older H1653 number. It's a fork internal that works down inside the leg to control the oil flow as the fork does its job, part of what gives the front end its damping action rather than just letting the springs do all the work unchecked.
