THROTTLE NEEDLE NORTON 850/ TRIUMPH 250 - 4 Rings above notches
Amal 4-ring throttle needle (928/104) for Norton 850 and Triumph 250 Concentric carburetors.
This is the Amal 928/104 throttle needle, a 4-ring needle that fits into the Amal Concentric carburetor slide and works with the throttle cutaway to meter fuel as you open the throttle. The catalog description ties it to the Norton 850 and a Triumph 250, and the ring pattern (4 rings above the notches) is how you tell it apart from other Amal needles that look similar at a glance.

These needles are small and easy to mix up in a parts drawer, so before you drop one in, check the ring count and notch position against what your carb originally had. If you're rebuilding a Concentric and the slide or needle jet show wear, it's worth going over the whole set rather than just swapping the needle on its own.
We don't have much more detail than the catalog line on this one. If you're not sure this is the right needle for your carburetor, give us a call and we'll help confirm before you order.
