SWINGING ARM
Rear swinging arm, part number 84-0003, from the swinging arm and suspension units assembly.

This is the swinging arm listed under 84-0003, the rear suspension pivot that carries the rear wheel and lets it move up and down against the suspension units. It's the part the rear axle and shocks all hang off, mounted on a pivot pin through the frame so the back end of the bike can move independently of the rest of the chassis.
