Exhaust tappet
Exhaust cam tappet (lifter) for the timing chest, part 70-6329, also listed as E6329.
This is the exhaust tappet, part number 70-6329, also found under the older E6329 designation. It shows up in the parts book under the oil pump, release valve, manifold and tappets section, which puts it down in the timing chest area where the cam followers ride against the exhaust cam lobe.

A tappet like this rides between the cam and the pushrod, taking the lift off the cam lobe and passing it up the line to open the exhaust valve. It's a wear part by nature, since it's in constant sliding contact with the cam, so if you're pulling one you may as well have a look at its mate on the intake side and check the cam lobes themselves while you're in there.
Our catalog only shows this one turning up in a single listing tied to 1966, so treat that as what we can confirm rather than the full range it may have been used across. Give us a call if you want to talk through fitment before you order.
