Paper sealing washer for the brake fluid reservoir cap, used on front and rear master cylinder assemblies.
This is the paper washer that seals the master cylinder reservoir cap on the front and rear brake systems. It shows up in the catalog under FRONT BRAKE, REAR BRAKE, and REAR WHEEL figures, which fits with it doing the same job in more than one location on bikes that carry hydraulic brake fluid reservoirs.

It's a small, inexpensive item that's easy to overlook, but a torn or hardened one will let fluid seep past the cap or let moisture and grit into the reservoir. Given how cheap it is to keep on hand, there's no real reason to run one that's cracked or flattened out.
