SHIFT LEVER T140 UK MADE - L/H SHIFT 76-ON
Left-hand shift gear lever for the T140 750 twin, UK made, for the 1976-on left-side shift gearboxes.
This is the gear shift lever for the T140 750 twin, made for the left-hand shift setup that Triumph adopted from 1976 on when the factory switched over to meet US regulations. It's the lever you actually stand on to change gears, splined onto the gearbox selector shaft so it moves the internal selector mechanism shown in the gearbox inner cover and outer cover diagrams in the parts books.

If you're working on an earlier right-hand shift 750 or converting one over, don't assume this lever is a direct swap without checking your gearbox internals and cover setup, since the left-hand shift change involved more than just moving the lever to the other side. Catalog records show this part appearing across the mid-to-late 1970s T140 production run.
This one is listed as UK made, which is worth noting if you're trying to match up original equipment versus reproduction parts on a restoration.
