Nut
A 10-32 UNF nut used on the exhaust pipe clamp hardware on unit 750 Triumph twins, now listed under 97-0745.
This is a small nut, PN 21-7009, that shows up repeatedly in the exhaust hardware for the unit-construction 750 twins. The catalog places it in the exhaust pipes and mufflers figures for the T140V and TR7RV, and it's threaded 10-32 UNF, which is the size used with the finned exhaust pipe clamps on these bikes rather than a big fastener.

It's the kind of nut you don't think about until you're missing one at the workbench and the clamp won't cinch down. Since it turns up across ten catalog listings spanning 1976 to 1985, it's clearly a part Triumph used in quantity on the exhaust system rather than a one-off.
This number has since been superseded by 97-0745, so if you're working from a newer parts book or a shop lists it that way, that's the same nut under the current part number.
