EX-PIPE CLIP,T140 1972-79 (Push-In Pipe Heat Sink)
Finned alloy clamp for the push-in exhaust pipe joint on T140-era Triumph twins, 1972-79.
This is the finned alloy clamp used on the push-in style exhaust pipe joint found on the T140 and related unit-twin models, per the catalog note covering 1972-79. It's a small piece but it does real work, holding the header pipe seated into the port and helping pull heat away from the joint where the pipe meets the head.

The clamp shows up across several exhaust figure listings in our books, always tied to the push-in pipe arrangement rather than the earlier clamped or flanged designs. It also carries a legacy E12465 form and a later 80-62393 number, so if you're working from an older parts book or a different catalog edition you may see it listed under either of those instead of 71-2465.
The clamp itself doesn't come with the mounting hardware, so have a screw, nut, and washer on hand when you go to fit it. Give us a call if you're not sure this is the right clamp for your particular pipe setup — there were a few different exhaust arrangements across this era and we'd rather confirm before you order than have it come back.
