Outer member—R.H

Right-hand outer fork member (slider) for the telescopic front fork, legacy number H3954.

PN · 97-3954

This is the outer member, right-hand side, for the telescopic front fork assembly. It's one of the two main fork legs — the sliding cover that the stanchion works inside of, carrying the wheel and mudguard mounts on that side of the bike. The legacy parts book listed this one as H3954 before the shop moved to the 97-3954 numbering.

Our catalog record ties this to the telescopic front fork figure with entries running through 1971, but beyond that we don't have more written down. If you're matching this against a left-hand outer member or another fork casting, bring both parts to the counter or have the numbers handy so we can confirm you've got the right side and the right match for your fork set.

Call or write in with your frame or fork details if you want us to check fitment before you order — these forks changed enough over the years that we'd rather confirm than guess.
