Gearbox Outer Cover

Outer cover for the Triumph gearbox, sealing the selector and lever mechanism, also known under the earlier part number T3755.

PN · 57-3755

This is the outer cover for the gearbox, the plate that closes off the selector and lever mechanism on the side of the gearbox shell. In the parts books it appears under the figure for the gearbox outer cover and levers, alongside the linkages it seals in. The older factory reference for this same part is T3755, which shows up on the earlier parts sheets before the numbering switched to 57-3755.

Catalog appearances for this cover run from 1969 through 1974, which tells you it stayed in service across that stretch of gearbox production, though we don't have enough here to pin it to one specific model. If you're replacing yours, check the gasket surface and the lever bushes while it's off, since this cover is your access point to that side of the box.

Give us a call with your frame or engine number if you want us to confirm this is the right cover before you order.
