What we do know is that this number has since been superseded by R928AL, and it also shows up under the alternate number 928/300. If you're chasing parts or a rebuild kit for this carb, check both numbers against what's stamped on your own unit, since either could turn up the right listing depending on which parts book you're working from.
Give us a call before you order if you want to confirm this is the right carb for your application. We'd rather get you the correct one than have you guess off a bare number.
