Nacelle flash

Trim flash for the Triumph headlamp nacelle, fitted 1960-1966, also known by its earlier part number H877.

PN · 97-0877
Supersedes 97-0878 — earlier factory number for this part.
Available in 2 versions:

The nacelle flash is the small trim piece fitted to the headlamp nacelle on Triumph models of this era. It shows up in the parts book under the NACELLE, HEADLAMP AND SWITCHES figures, so it lives right on that shell housing the headlamp and switch gear at the front of the bike. If your parts book lists this under the older H877 designation, that's the same physical piece as 97-0877 - the number was updated at some point but the part didn't change.

This one also carries a factory supersession from 97-0878, so if you're chasing down a part off an older parts list and it points you to that number, you're looking at the same flash under its current designation.

The catalog entries span 1960 through 1966 across a dozen appearances, which tells you this trim piece had a decent run on nacelle-equipped machines of that period. Beyond that we don't have more detail on it - if you're not sure your nacelle takes this exact flash, give us a call and we'll sort out fitment before you order.
