TANK RUBBER, THICK 1/2IN
Thick half-inch rubber isolator that cushions the gas tank where it mounts to the frame on Triumph twins.
This is the thick tank rubber, half an inch, that sits between the gas tank and the frame mounting points on Triumph twins. It's a simple part but an important one - it's what keeps the tank from sitting metal-on-metal against the frame, soaking up vibration and letting the tank seat properly on its mounts.

These perish and go flat or crumbly with age, which lets the tank rock or rub on the frame rails. Worth checking the fit against your existing mounts before installing, since tank rubbers come in different thicknesses and this one is specifically the thick, half-inch version.
