CRANK CASE TIMING SIDE
Timing-side crankcase half for the lower engine, PN 71-3678.
This is the timing-side crankcase half, PN 71-3678. It's the lower engine casting that houses the timing-side of the crank and the gear-driven timing components on that side of the motor. Any work involving crank end float, timing gears, or a full bottom-end rebuild runs through this casting.

Our records on this one are thin, just a single catalog line, so we don't have detailed fitment or spec breakdowns to hand over. If you're piecing together a rebuild, give us a call with your frame or engine number and we'll confirm this is the right half before it ships.
Crankcase halves like this get bought once and kept, so it pays to be sure about fitment up front rather than sorting it out after the crate arrives.
Sorry if we got something wrong here. If you think this information isn't correct, .
