Camshaft pinion (drive gear) for the timing chest, catalog number 71-3666, supersedes 70-4562.
71-3666 is a camshaft pinion, the gear that drives the camshaft off the crankshaft timing gears on the bottom end. It shows up in the parts book under the CRANKSHAFT AND CONNECTING RODS and CRANKSHAFT, CAMSHAFTS AND CONNECTING RODS figures, so it lives down in the timing chest with the rest of the drive train that keeps valve timing in step with crank rotation.

This number supersedes the earlier factory part 70-4562 - same physical gear, just renumbered along the way, so if your old parts book or a used part you're holding shows 70-4562, that's this piece.
Catalog appearances for this pinion run from 1974 into 1985. Beyond that, our record doesn't pin down a specific model, so before you order, check it against what's actually in your timing chest.
