CRANKCASES
Crankcases for the engine bottom end, the main casting that carries the crankshaft.

71-1008 is a set of crankcases, the main casting that houses the crankshaft and forms the bottom end of the engine. Everything else in the lower motor - bearings, crank, timing gear - locates off this casting, so it's about as foundational a part as there is on the bike.
