Clip, exhaust pipe to head
Finned clip that clamps the exhaust pipe to the cylinder head on Triumph 650 twins.
This is the clip that holds the exhaust pipe up against the cylinder head port, keeping the joint tight so exhaust gas doesn't leak out where the pipe meets the head. It shows up in the exhaust pipes and mufflers figures for the T120R and TR6R, as well as the general exhaust pipes and mufflers listings and the TR6C figure, so it's a common fitment across those 650 twins through the catalog years we have on file. The finned look on this style of clamp matches the finned header pipe look used on these bikes.

Older parts books may list this one under the E10216 form, which is the same physical clip carried under the modern 71-0216 number. If you're rebuilding an exhaust system it's worth checking the fins on your old clamp against a new one before ordering, since there were different finned styles used across the pre-unit and unit years.
We don't have more detail on this one beyond what's in our catalog records — call the shop if you want to confirm which style clamp your bike needs before you order.
