Alternator lead grommet
Rubber grommet sealing the alternator lead where it passes through the crankcase.

This is the grommet that seals the hole where the alternator wiring passes through the crankcase. It's a small rubber piece, but it does a real job keeping oil inside the case where the lead exits, rather than letting it seep out around the wire.
