Left exhaust pipe

Left-side exhaust header pipe for the 650 twin range, catalogued 1965-1968.

PN · 70-5957

70-5957 is the left-side exhaust pipe, sometimes cross-referenced under the older E5957 number. It's the header pipe that runs from the left exhaust port back to the silencer, carrying spent gases away from that cylinder. Figure titles place it squarely in the exhaust pipes and silencers/mufflers section of the parts books, appearing across catalog entries from 1965 through 1968 on the 650 twin range.

This is sold as the left pipe only; the right side is its own part number. If you're replacing a full exhaust system, you'll want both sides plus whatever clamps, silencers, and brackets your bike calls for. Check your existing pipe against this one for port size and routing before ordering, since exhaust pipes on these machines can vary by model within the same general years.

The catalog record ties this to the 650 twin range across the mid-to-late '60s. If you're not sure which side or which pipe set your particular bike takes, give us a call and we'll confirm before you order.
