70-4451 is a timing pinion out of the crankshaft, piston and timing gears section of the parts book. It's one of the gears in the timing chest that keeps the crankshaft and camshaft (and the ignition/oil pump drive, depending on the engine) turning in the correct relationship to each other.

The catalog carries this under the legacy number E4451 as well, so if your parts book or an old invoice shows that number, it's the same physical piece as 70-4451.
Our records only show this part appearing in a couple of catalog listings, and the fitment isn't spelled out beyond the figure it comes from. Call the shop and we'll confirm which engine this gear belongs to before you order.
