This is an inlet rocker box for the 6T, the part that caps off the top of the head over the inlet rocker gear. It's a Triumph engine-top part, and it shows up in the catalog under the cylinder block and head figure for the 6T.

The rocker box houses the rocker and keeps oil where it belongs up top while the rocker arm does its work on the inlet valve. If you're chasing an oil leak or rebuilding the head, this is one of the covers you'll be pulling.
