This is a 5/16 x 26 TPI, 2-inch CEI bolt, part number 70-0688, with the old factory number 65-0292 for anyone working from an earlier parts book. The description in our records reads it as a general-purpose bolt used for muffler or exhaust hanger mounting duty, and CEI hardware in this size shows up in more than one spot on a British bike, so don't be surprised if you find the same bolt holding down a chainguard, battery carrier, or magneto strap on other models.
