SPACER SHIFT HOUSING T100
A spacer for the shift housing on the gearbox outer cover, T100 catalog line.
57-1876 is a spacer that fits behind the shift housing on the gearbox outer cover, in the T100 catalog line. It's a small part, but it's the kind of thing that sets the spacing between the shift shaft and the housing so the gear change lever works the way it's supposed to. The old parts books list it under T1876, which is the same physical piece under the earlier alpha-prefix number.

This one shows up in the GEARBOX OUTER COVER AND LEVERS section of the parts books, spanning catalog entries from the late '60s into the early '70s. If you're rebuilding the outer cover assembly or chasing a sloppy gear change, this is a part worth checking for wear or the wrong thickness turning up during reassembly.
It's not a part most people think about until the shift mechanism feels off. Give us a call if you're not sure which spacer your particular cover assembly needs.
