Countersunk screw (0.47 in. U.H.)
Countersunk screw used to secure the outer plates on the earlier Triumph clutch center assembly.
This is the countersunk screw that holds the outer plates of the earlier clutch center assembly together on the Triumph clutch. The catalog lists it as PN 57-1040, and it shows up under the older T1040 form in the earlier parts books. Figure references place it squarely in the clutch section.

These screws are notorious for getting chewed up on removal - the slots strip easily once they've been peened over at the factory, so it's common to need fresh ones any time the clutch center comes apart. The catalog shows this part across a long run of years, so it's a part that gets ordered often when a clutch is being rebuilt.
If you're pulling one of these out and the screw head looks rough, plan on replacing it rather than trying to reuse it. Confirm you're matching the right screw for your particular clutch center before ordering, since Triumph clutch hardware changed over the years.
