Gearbox sprocket (18T)
An 18-tooth gearbox sprocket that drives the primary chain off the transmission mainshaft.
This is the 18-tooth gearbox sprocket that carries drive out of the transmission and feeds the primary chain back to the engine. It lives on the end of the gearbox mainshaft, in the area covered in the parts books under gearbox shafts and gears. The tooth count of 18 is stated right on the catalog line, so if you're chasing a specific final-drive ratio this is one of the pieces that sets it.

Older parts books list this one as T471A, which is the same physical piece as 57-0471A once Triumph moved off the letter-prefix numbering. If your bike's book still shows the old number, you're in the right place.
Our catalog record ties this part to appearances spanning 1960 through 1962. We don't have more detail on it beyond that, so check tooth count and spline fit against what's currently on your gearbox before ordering.
