INDICATOR FINGER,PRE-63
Gearbox indicator finger, PRE-63 listing, part number 57-0395, later renumbered 57-0396.
This is the indicator finger listed in the books as PRE-63, part number 57-0395. The catalog title points to gear indicator duty, so it lives with the gearbox pointer/plate setup that shows the rider which gear they're in. Ours has no history of catalog appearances beyond this basic listing, so we're relying on the description itself for what it does.

The factory later renumbered this part to 57-0396, so if you're working from a parts book or another supplier's list and see that number, it's the same piece under its later designation.
Give us a call if you want to confirm this is the right finger for your setup before ordering — with a part this small and this specific to early gearbox indicator arrangements, it pays to check.
