Replacement harness socket (lighting)
Replacement Lucas 88SA lighting switch harness socket for the headlamp nacelle wiring.
This is the harness socket that plugs into the back of the Lucas 88SA lighting switch, the one mounted in the headlamp nacelle on a lot of British twins from this era. It carries the wiring pins that connect the light switch to the rest of the harness, so when the old socket cracks or the pins go loose and corroded, the fix is to replace this piece rather than rewire the whole switch. It also shows up under the older Lucas number MC907 if that's what's printed in your parts book.

Our catalog has this listed across a run of nacelle and headlamp/wiring harness figures, so it's a common wear item on bikes that used the 88SA switch setup. If your lights are cutting out or the switch feels loose in the socket, this is usually the part to check first before condemning the whole switch.
It's a small connector but it does real work holding the lighting circuit together at that junction, so worn pins or a cracked housing here can cause more electrical headaches than people expect.
