BSA Ratchet, kickstart

Kickstart ratchet from the gearbox internals, part number 40-3279.

PN · 40-3279

This is the kickstart ratchet, the toothed component that lets the kickstart lever engage the gearbox to spin the engine over and then disengage once it fires. It lives in the gearbox internals, working alongside the kickstart shaft and pinion in the gear cluster and footstart/footchange assembly.
