Needle jet (.106)
Amal Monobloc carburetor needle jet, .106 size, part 376/072, now supplied as 376/072A.
This is the needle jet out of an Amal Monobloc carburettor, the .106 size, catalog number 376/072. The needle jet is the small brass-bodied fitting the throttle needle rides inside, down in the mixing chamber, and it's one of the parts that sets how the carb meters fuel through the mid-throttle range. Get the wrong size in there and the bike will run rich or lean no matter how you fiddle with the needle position.

This one shows up across a long run of Amal Monobloc fitments in our records, from the 3TA and 5TA carbs through the T90, T100 family, 6T, T110, TR6, and the T120/Bonneville carburettors. It's been reworked into the later 376/072A part number, so if you're chasing this jet from an older parts list and coming up with 376/072, know that the current version of the same part is stocked under 376/072A.
If you're rebuilding a Monobloc and aren't sure which needle jet is currently in there, pull it and check the size stamped on it before ordering - jets in this family come in a few different flow sizes and they're not interchangeable without affecting how the carb runs.
