37-7042 is a wheel bearing, listed in the parts books for both the front and rear wheel assemblies. It's a sealed bearing, which means it carries its own grease seal built in rather than relying on a separate grease seal fitted alongside it.

This one shows up in the catalog across 1978 to 1983, so it's a later-era wheel bearing rather than something you'd find on the early bikes. If you're rebuilding a hub and pull one of these out, check the replacement number too — this part was superseded by 37-0653, so if your supplier is out of 37-7042 or you're cross-referencing an older parts list, that's the number that replaced it.
Wheel bearings take a lot of abuse over the years between road grit, water, and just plain mileage, so if one's worn or noisy it's worth checking the other bearing on that same wheel and the corresponding one on the opposite wheel while the hub is apart.
