The older book number for this one is W1275, in case that's what's stamped in your parts manual or old invoice. Straight spokes like this one thread through the hub flange and pull the rim true against the others around it - when you're rebuilding a front wheel or just replacing a broken spoke, you want to match the gauge and pattern so the wheel stays properly tensioned and round.
