This is the anchor plate nut used on the front wheel of twin leading shoe drum brake setups. It's what holds the brake anchor plate to the front spindle, keeping the whole plate from rotating with the wheel so the brake shoes can do their job. On the catalog books it also shows up under the S1995 form, which is just the earlier way this same part number was written.
