Norton Hub Shell c/w Bearing, Spacer, etc.

Front hub shell with bearing and spacer, for the disc-type front wheel setup.

PN · 062867

This is a front hub shell, sold complete with its bearing and spacer, for the disc-brake front wheel setup. The manufacturer tag on this one is off — hub shells aren't a Lucas product, and nothing in the catalog record points to Lucas having made this part. It's a wheel component, not an electrical one.

The hub shell is the center piece the front wheel builds around, carrying the bearing that lets the wheel spin freely on the front axle. Because this one shows up specifically under the disc-type front wheel and brake figures, it's paired with a disc setup rather than an earlier drum front end.

Our catalog record only spans a couple of appearances in the parts books, covering 1971 to 1973. If you're not sure whether your front end is drum or disc, or whether this shell matches your spindle and disc carrier, give us a call before ordering and we'll confirm fitment.
